Wan Muse Season 3 Theme: “In Character”  This contest features dual tracks, is open for submissions from global creators, and focuses on the film-grade creative capabilities of the Wan 2.6 model

Who Can Participate Global creators, including but not limited to individual creators, creative teams, or organizations.

3. Content Requirements

3.1Contestants must use WAN as the primary creation tool and can submit their work in any of the following formats:

  • AI-Generated Video: Video generation models are restricted to Wan, and contestants can use locally deployed open-source models, open-source community workflows, Wan models on various cooperating AIGC creation platforms, or create using the official Wan website.

3.2 Submission Tracks and Formats:

  • Track 1: 【Micro-Film】Must be a complete narrative short film with a clear story structure.Main Video Length: Minimum 90 seconds, and no more than 15 minutes.(The above duration does not include the end slate/credits.)Format: MP4/MOV, strictly in 16:9 landscape (or letterboxed with black bars to maintain 16:9 encapsulation).
  • Track 2: 【Art Style Exploration】No full story needed — just stunning visuals. Show your unique take on style, mood, and AI-powered aesthetics.Main Video Length: Minimum 10 seconds.(The above duration does not include the end slate/credits.)Format: MP4/MOV, 16:9 or 9:16

3.3 Language and Sound:

  • Dialogue/Narration is recommended in Chinese/English; non-Chinese or non-English needs to be accompanied by English subtitles.
  • Pure music/sound effects works are permitted, but silent videos are strictly prohibited.

3.4Originality Statement:Works must be original; direct appropriation, plagiarism of prompts, or other people’s generated results is prohibited.

3.5Brand Exposure (Non-Mandatory but Encouraged): The official WAN Muse+ logo can be included at the end of the film (download link at the end of the document).

This contest covers six major award categories, which will be determined by the Wan Creative Judging Panel.

[Micro-Film] Track

* PSA : Public Service Announcement

[Art Style Exploration] Track

* In the [Micro Film Track], all sub-awards (Best Narrative / Animation / Visual Effects / Public Service) will be selected from the 30 nominated entries within the [Micro Film] track.the organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any of the above awards if submitted works do not meet the required standards.

* One Advanced Member Monthly Card is valued at $40, and three Advanced Member Monthly Cards are valued at $120.

* All prize money amounts are pre-tax amounts; the organizer will legally withhold and pay individual income tax on behalf of the recipient, and the actual disbursed amount will be after tax deduction.

* The time of prize money arrival will be subject to the time of contact by staff after the awards ceremony.

2、Event Guidelines

2.1Multiple Submissions and Award Rules: The same author (or team) is allowed to submit multiple works, and multiple works can be simultaneously shortlisted for nomination. If the same author has multiple works that meet the award criteria, only the highest-level award will be conferred (prize money and rewards will not be duplicated).

2.2Watermark Guidelines: The AI watermark generated by Wan, located in the bottom right corner, is permitted to remain. Adding any other text/Logo watermarks (including personal ID, platform identifiers, etc.) is prohibited; violators will be disqualified.

2.3Work Retention: All submitted works must remain publicly accessible until February 28, 2026; premature deletion will be considered an automatic forfeiture of rights.

2.4Legal and Ethical Compliance: Submitted works must comply with local laws, regulations, and ethical norms, and must not involve content that is discriminatory or offensive towards race, religion, gender, political stance, nationality, or sexual orientation; disqualification will occur immediately upon detection.

2.5Information Response: Nominated participants must check private messages or emails sent by the official Wan new media accounts or staff within 7 working days after the shortlisted works list is announced, and submit the required information accordingly.
